Classic Argentine Empanadas

Empanadas are typical in Argentina as a starter/appetizer. It pairs great with a Malbec. These are usually filled with hand-cut beef tenderloin, onions , herbs and spices. The filling is contained by a very thin an crispy pastry dough. These “empanadas” are cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven.
